All machines like this work on credits or cash drop. Credits go to the meter if programmed that way, or coins drop on a win. If this machine plays only on credits, it is probably set up as a tournament machine. Is there a hopper inside? (The thing that holds the coins?) It sounds like either an IGT or Universal but could also be a Bally. It could be a Sigma. All have different programs and approaches. Look at the side of it and see if there is a tag or call whoever sold them to you and ask them what the make is and what type are they. An IGT S+ ? or whatever it may be. Then, we can give you some real answers to help you. Did you try pressing the cash out button so it might light up? I set mine for players choice. If you hit the 'Cash Out Button' all wins are dropped in coin. If I press it and it lights up, all credits go to the credt meter.
